This is an Australian brand, created by Johanna & Christo Everingham. Joanna was introduced to organic cosmetic crafting by her alchemist mother and has been making her own skincare compositions for over 20 years.

In December Boxwalla Beauty Box "From the Earth, Slowly" are three products from Lepaar Skincare: The Luminous Beauty Balm, Luxurious Body Firming Oil and Velvet Sole Lip + Face Balm. You can check out the box here.

The Luminous Beauty Balm is a very soft balm. Super soft! A silken balm filled with whole plant extracts & non-nano 24K gold that are sun-infused by Lepaar on their Kangaroo Valley farm or Sydney studio in certified Demeter biodynamic Olive Oil for 4-6 months. You can check out the whole list of ingredients on their website here, where there's a lot of information, like their origin and skin benefits. To mention a few ingredients in this luxurious balm, there's Calendula, Vanilla, Rose, Chamomile, Carrot Root, Black Cumin Seed Oil, Turmeric, and more stunning ingredients. This beautiful blend is suitable for all skin types, it especially benefits mature and teenage, acne prone, sensitive, imbalanced skin.

I love its soft and smooth consistency, that the extracts are sun-infused in-house and then hand-blended at full moon or new moon, ingredients are biodynamic, organic, wildcrafted. There is Beeswax in this balm, but Lepaar doesn't test on animals. I love that this balm doesn't feel too heavy or rich, I enjoy the fact that it doesn't contain Shea or Cocoa Butter. Sometimes my skin doesn't react well to those, well it depends on the amount, and other ingredients. This is a balm so it doesn't get completely absorb into the skin but it does sink into the skin easily and quickly. And with all balms, less is more, always. I love using it in the morning, especially if I'm going hiking or just out in nature, it works lovely at protecting my skin from the cold weather. It's also a wonderful product for nighttime use. I don't use it every day but I didn't experience any problems with clogged pores. I have yet to use it more regularly to see how it really works for my combination skin but so thus far I'm really liking it. Another thing to mention is its scent which is not strong and I actually don't really smell much, mainly just olive oil. I like it.

Luxurious Body Firming Oil is a deep tissue strenghtening compostion that cocoons, softens and smoothes the skin. It was created to reduce the appearance of stretch marks, help firm, tone and strengthen the skin while protecting our spiritual equilibrium. The base of this oil is the same as it is for The Luminous Beauty Balm - Olive Oil, Calendula and Vanilla Extracts. In this base are again, like with the balm some truly stunning, sun-infused ingredients such as Arnica, Camellia, Milk Thistle, Neroli, Saffron. The scent is mild and indeed, I enjoy that. Well honestly, I wouldn't mind a stronger scent, which I like in a bodycare product, especially if I find a scent that is beautiful (to me) and I treat it as a perfume. I can't really say if this body oil is in fact firming or if it helps with stretch marks and such. I don't really use it for my body but more as a luxurious "hand cream". I only use it at night, I slather it on before sleep - on my hands, elbows, neck and decolletage. As I'm writing this, I have to say that this one is my favourite products from this box. It's just so stunning!

Velvet Sole Lip + Face Balm is composed with exfoliating and rejuvenating Papaya Seed Oil, Calendula Extract, Beeswax, as well as Pink Himalayan Crystal Salt that provides the skin with 84 trace elements. This is a nice lip balm which I mainly only use in the evening, before bed. It's not the most nourishing lip balm I ever tried but a very lovely product nonetheless. It can be used as a face balm, to sculpt eyebrows (I have to try it like that!) and as a highlighter. And using it like that, as a highlighter is my favourite thing to do. The look it gives is so natural and truly gives that "glow from within", which is always what I look for in a highlighter. Not mad about all the extra nourishment my skin receives when it sits all pretty on top of my makeup.

First Impressions on the NEW Earthwise Beauty Products

december 05, 2019

Yesterday I received the two new products from my beloved Earthwise Beauty. I won't be the first to say it but EWB is truly such a special & magical brand, my favourite brand. Every single day I use at least one of Ava's products and with a number of products I have (so thankful about that) that is for sure saying something. I get ridiculously excited when I hear Ava is creating a new product because as I said it before, I'm obsessed with her creations! This time she not only launched one, but two products and I have some things to say about them so here are my first impressions.
Earthwise Beauty Rosa Whole-Fruit Rosehip Oil, On a Swing Among Trees Face Serum in a Mist. Skincare. Veagn. Handcrafted.
Earthwise Beauty On a Swing Among Trees Face Serum in a Mist. Turmeric, Frankincense, Myrrh. Code Loveliness saves money
On a Swing Among Trees Face Serum in a Mist* is a "youth-preserving serum in a mist". A very interesting product with a unique scent profile. This product is the outcome of Ava's obsession with ancient precious resins, as there are four of them included here: Myrrh, Frankincense Serrata, Frankincense Sacra and Copaiba. There is so much to say about this product I don't even know where to begin! Since this is a first impression I don't want to overwhelm you with all the details so let's get the bascis done. This product has a wonderful spray mister which provides a fine mist. Swing feels like a mist, not a serum (if you think of serums as watery & super hydrating). It feels like a dry mist, not heavy at all. It is as Ava described it "it is a dry serum in a liquid format that strives to deliver a very natural skin feel when you or someone else touches your face: the skin is matte, perfectly soft, well-conditioned, springy and alive, and dry - not oily, coated, or sticky from products." It's really quite unique. The scent is resinous, warm, spicy, a bit sweet, I could say addicting. Unlike anything I have in my collection. I love that it contains Turmeric for its amazing brightening effects, Aloe Vera & German Chamomile to calm redness and there's also "a very progressive plant ceramide–cholesterol complex that has been scientifically proven to boost the functioning of mature skin". Wow what a special product! As I said, I love how it feels on the skin, very unique, and the scent is addicting. If you want to be even more impressed, then I highly recommend reading Ava's description, it will blow your socks off! You can get Earthwise Beauty On a Swing Among Trees Face Serum in a Mist here.
Earthwise Beauty Rosa Whole-Fruit Rosehip Oil. Organic, cold press, unrefiend, deep orange colour. Code Loveliness saves money

Rosa Whole-Fruit Rosehip Oil* is an unscented, organic, cold-press, unrefined Rosehip Oil. A single ingredient oil that will become a favourite of many, I have no doubt about that. I have always been a fan of Rosehip Oil but not all are created equal. This is NOT an oil extracted only from rosehip seeds but it is made from the seeds, fruit pulp, and fruit skin - hence the name whole-fruit rosehip oil. It's holistic, balanced, and fullest in its range of nutrients. I'm in awe of its gorgeous deep orange colour which can show up on the skin. It is a rather lightweight oil and it gets easily absorbed into the skin. Rosehip oil is known for its amazing benefits - it reduces hyperpigmentation, scars, acne, fine lines and wrinkles. I'm really so excited to include it in my everyday skincare routine, my skin will thank me for it. Meant for all skin types, especially sensitive, acne-prone, and mature. You can get Earthwise Beauty Rosa Whole-Fruit Rosehip Oil here.

As always you can use my affiliate code Loveliness for 15% off your order at Earthwise Beauty.

If you have any questions let me know, I'm happy to help.

Much love to you all,

Jana xx
