Review of April Boxwalla Beauty Box

marec 13, 2019

Hi loves! How are you doing? I'm so excited to talk about the April Boxwalla Beauty Box* today. It features two products that I've tried before and I love them both. I've reviewed them already so definitely check out my full reviews if you want to know more about these two products. If you're new here, Boxwalla is a bi-monthly subscription service where you can choose from a few different boxes. You have to subscribe to receive your Boxwalla box but what is different to other subscription boxes is that you can cancel your subscription at any time. You can only join & pay for one box and then either cancel or stay subscribed for the next bi-monthly box. Boxwalla beauty boxes are so amazing and I know many people who subscribed for just one box but then stayed a long time subscriber because they were always so impressed with their curations. And I completely agree, Lavanya really knows what she's doing and she always delivers on their boxes.

In the April Boxwalla Beauty Box* with the theme Letters to Winter from Spring, are two full size products: Mālayā Organics Advanced Repair Mask and Flower and Spice Soothe and Repair Daily Moisturiser. Check it out here.

Mālayā Organics Advanced Repair Mask (review) is a potent, youth-boosting formula that softens, calms, and clarifies skin to help achieve your most radiant complexion. It's a super beautiful and effective honey based mask. Its star ingredient is highly anti-bacterial, healing and skin-beneficial Wild Neem Flower Honey. I love me some honey and I love me some Neem, so this ingredient is perfect for me. There are also Clays, Aloe Vera Gel and a proprietary complex of 9 reparative herbs, that gently draw out impurities and exfoliate. There is Blue Tansy, which I love for its soothing and anti-inflammatory properties, Black Currant, Red Thyme Oil, Broccoli Seed Oil and more. So gorgeous. It has a Lavender scent, well it kinda smells like a mixture of Lavender and earth or more like hay, I like it. The mask itself is quite runny so rather scoop out less than more so you don't end up spilling & wasting it. I love leaving it on my face for about half an hour, even longer. It does dry up on the skin but I don't find it uncomfortable, so sometimes I don't even bother misting it. It soothes my skin, calms the inflammation (meaning that it can calm down a growing spot and reduces it), it evens out my skin tone & reduces redness. It makes my skin soft, smooth (the mask is gently exfoliating) and also a bit moisturized. It just takes care of everything! Advanced Repair Mask can be used on all skin types. I highly recommend it for oily, acne-prone and combination skin. If you want some gentle but effective skin detox, gently exfoliated but also calmed and glowing skin, then this is the mask for you. It's a beaut! You can check out Mālayā Organics Advanced Repair Mask here.
Flower and Spice Soothe and Repair Daily Moisturiser Rose and Coriander

Flower and Spice Soothe and Repair Daily Moisturiser (review) was the cream I deeply fell for a couple of months ago. It. Is. So. Good. I said on my Instagram (see here) that I highly recommend Karmen's products (who is btw a fellow Slovenian) and that you better put her products on your wishlist for 2019. Well now you can get this cream at such a good price so if you can then definitely subscribe to Boxwalla. Let me now quote myself: I first tried it months ago (in spring and summer of last year) and although it was beautiful, I didn't really see any major difference in my skin. Fast forward to late autumn and winter and I. Am. Obsessed. This cream is moisturizing and gives a pack of hydration but is also lightweight, non-greasy and doesn't clog my pores (combo skin over here). It's soothing, super lush and creamy and I just really love it. A true gem. This cream is formulated with Swiss Mountain Spring Water, Rose Water, oils of Apricot, Prickly Pear, Shea Butter, Oat Extract, Aloe Vera and more. You can check out Flower and Spice Soothe and Repair Daily Moisturiser here.

I highly recommend the April Boxwalla Beauty Box. I love both products so much & I think you would to. The box is valued at $160 but by subscribing to Boxwalla you can get it for $49.95. You can subscribe here.

Let me know have you tried these two products before? Are you excited to receive this box?

Much love,

Jana xx
