Odacité Mint + Green Tea Hydra-Purifying Treatment Mist

February 26, 2017

Toners. Do you use them? I always love spritzing my face with a good toner but I do have to say that they are a tough product to judge. In the last few months I've tried a few toners containing Aloe Vera Juice and I have to say they have been really lovely to my skin. There were these two beautiful toners I received in Beauty Heroes boxes, the Kari Gran Hydrating Tonic* (mentioned in this post) and the Josh Rosebrook Hydrating Accelerator* (mention in this post), both gorgeous. I also used up the Cistus and Moonlight Face Mist* from Earthwise Beauty, and even though it was hydrating I wasn't really a fan of its scent. Another aloe juice based toner I enjoyed is one of the newly-packaged Odacité toners, the Mint + Green Tea Hydra-Purifying Treatment Mist*. I had a chance to choose from their three facial mists and they all sound lovely, but I wanted one with the least ingredients so the mint it is.
The Mint + Green Tea mist contains only 5 ingredients and they are all very straightforward - Aloe Leaf Juice, Peppermint, Willow Bark and Green Tea Extracts, and Vegetable Glycerin. All but the glycerin are organic. The toner is 100% natural, vegan and gmo free. The toner is naturally rich in salicylic acid, Willow Bark helps to rapidly clear pimples and deeply purify pores. Peppermint is a powerful ally that helps to remove excess oil and reduce dullness. Aloe Vera prevents skin from over drying while Green Tea extract acts as a powerful antioxidant to neutralize free radical damage. As you can see the toner is meant to be especially beneficial and good for oily and combinations skin. It is said that the toner quickly and effectively reduces the appearance of acne & breakouts, and restore a fresh, clear complexion. As I've said, toners and mists are hard products to judge but I have to say that I did see positive results on my skin. My complexion didn't dramatically change but the use of this toner did help to keep my skin looking fresh and nice. You know when I was using this toner my skin didn't become as oily through the day as it did before, which was happening quite a lot in the last few months. I don't know if it was like that only because of this toner but it was a very nice thing indeed.
I would recommend it to those with oily and acne-prone skin, I think you'd really like it. It's a lovely mist you can use as the first step in your skincare routine (after you wash your face), you can mist your face with it after you apply your makeup or just use it whatever you feel like it. It smells like mint - so very refreshing and has a great spray nozzle applicator. I also adore the miron glass bottles. You can get this Odacité mist here.

Which facial mist have you been enjoying lately?

Lots of love,

Jana xx
