iHerb Haul and Giveaway!

May 01, 2016

Hello pretty ladies. How are you all doing? Today's post is brought to you by iHerb, an online store where I've been ordering products for a few years now. It's the store to where I turned to when I wanted to buy even better green, natural and organic products. Affordable products I couldn't get in our local drugstores and health food and beauty stores. Just go ahead and have a search "iHerb" on my blog, you'll see lots of my posts and reviews of products I ordered from there. That's way I was most excited when they contacted me to work together. Their offer was amazing and one I just couldn't say no to. I had the absolute pleasure to pick some of the products they stock, which was so wonderful in itself but then they also offered a giveaway where two, not one, but two! of my readers will receive a gift card. How could I say no?!

Before I go into the giveaway and the prize let me just quickly mention that even though my initial impression of iHerb was that it looks a bit sketchy (they improved their design through the years) and not really chic, I ended up absolutely loving the store. They have a big selection of beauty products (mostly natural and organic, but not every single product is "clean" so be careful with that), supplements, superfoods, teas and coffee, house cleaning products, products for babies and I could go on. Everyone can find something there, no matter if you're starting your green beauty journey or if you're already a green beauty expert. Or just a "normal" person, really. If you're a first-time iHerb consumer you can also use my discount code JIG460 and get $5 off your first order. Not to mention that shipping cost to Slovenia is only $4. But enough of my ramble, let's rather move to my short reviews of some products that you can get on iHerb.
Deep Steep Bubble Bath in Passion Fruit - Guava and Mango - Papaya - these are my go-to bubble baths and have been for a couple of years. I try not to indulge in a bath as often as I would like because of the water consumption, so one bottle lasts me a long time. These both have tropical, sweet scents, Passion Fruit - Guava even more so. They provide a very decent amount of bubbles which isn't always a case with natural and organic bubble baths. The foam doesn't last the longest but the scent lingers which is fine by me. I love them and you can hardly beat the price, especially considering the ingredients and huge bottles.

Organic India Triphala - I've already proclaimed my love for triphala here. It is a wonderful herbal concoction that has been used in Ayurveda for thousands of years. Triphala actually means "the three fruits" and it consists of three Indian fruits - Amalaki, Haritaki and Bibhitaki. Each a superfood with its own active ingredients they form an antoxidant rich Triphala which is especially known for its colon and digestive support. A balanced digestion is the most important thing in our bodies and we should always keep it in check. Triphala doesn't act as laxatives do, your body doesn't crave or require it once you stop using it, it just tones and supports normal functions to the bowel and doesn't irritate them. You should definitely take a closer look into it, no matter if you have problems with your digestion or not. Organic is always best and capsules are much easier to swallow so I'm faithful to this Organic India Triphala with 90 capsules.

Acure Organics Brightening Facial Scrub - I heard so many great things about this scrub that I just had to try it. It's said to be a deep cleansing and brightening experience with the likes of Organic Sea Kelp and Lemon Peel, which gently exfoliate your skin while French Green Clay removes impurities from your pores without taking your natural moisture with it. So far I have only used it once so I don't have much to say about it claims, but this is was one seriously good scrub! It has so many scrubby particles that you can really go to town with it. It made my skin really soft and smooth. I'm not surprised with that to be honest, Acure is one amazing brand.

Andalou Naturals A Path of Light Shea Butter + Sea Buckthorn Hand Cream - this is one of the most lightweight hand creams I've ever used. It instantly sinks into the skin. It's moisturizing but only to some extent. If you're struggling with really dry skin then this won't be enough but if you're looking for a fast absorbing cream that you can easily use at your computer, then you have to give it a go. I tend to always have it at my desk at work and I actually forgot it there so it's missing from the picture.

WiseWays Herbals Camellia Eye Cream - I have reviewed this eye cream here. It is a lovely cream, I loved using it and so has my friend. That's why this jar is for her. I would gladly buy it again but at the moment I have a few that I have to use up before buying any new eye creams.
Acure Organics Energizing Body Lotion, Mandarin Orange + Argan Stem Cell (review) - if you don't know, this is one of my favourite body lotions out there. Super hydrating and nourishing, makes my skin super soft and smooth. Love it! This one I picked up for my friend because she is also obsessed.

Acure Organics Moroccan Argan Stem Cell + Argan Oil Conditioner (review) - I don't see myself ever be without it, I just love it so much! Perfect for dry, damaged hair, it's deeply nourishing and contains great ingredients.

Zhena's Gypsy Tea Acai Berry Herbal Superfruit Tea - I don't usually buy tea online but this one is an exception. It's just so good! It's Organic and Fair Trade South African Rooibos with Hibiscus, Rosehips, Lemon Grass, Acai Berries, Licorice Root and Orange Peel (+ natural flavours). I love pretty much all roiboos teas but this one just has that something special and I'm constantly going back for more.

Bdellium Tools Pink Bambu Series, Eyes 785, Tapered Blending Brush - I haven't used this one yet but I have a good feeling that I will love it. I have some other BT eye brushes and all but one I really love them. The one I don't like is from their Studio Line, the 776. Other than that, they are all super soft and vegan, of course. Highly recommend you to take a closer look at Bdellium Tools and their bamboo series. I love the look of the brushes from their purple bamboo series too and I do hope iHerb will start stocking them.

Sierra Bees Organic Lip Balms, Variety Pack - are you in need of a new balm? Because I sure ain't! Well actually my boyfriend isn't. He is so fond of these lip balms and being a tough lip balm judge that he is, I have to tell you that these have Jaka's stamp of approval. I've already mentioned his test that he does with every lip balm. If the balm stays on his lips through the night and if he still feels it on his lips in the morning, then it's a good one. And these sure are. I really like them too.
