Current Faves #2

June 11, 2015

Bdellium Tools Smoky Eyes - komplet 5 čopičev iz sintetičnih ščetin in bambusovih ročajev. Krasni čopiči, z zelo mehkimi ščetinami čudovito zajamejo senčilo, ga enakomerno razporedijo in odlično zabrišejo.

Pravzaprav uravnava delovanje in izločanje sebuma oziroma loja.

Translation
Long time no favourites post, so I thought today would be a great day to write one. :)

Bdellium Tools Smoky Eyes - a set of 5 eye brushes made with vegan synthetic bristles and sustainable bamboo handles. These great quality brushes pick up a good amount of product in one swipe, they distribute it evenly and blend perfectly. Amongst the five, there's only one I don't use on a regular basis, if ever, the smallest one (760). I don't know what to do with it. :) It's hard to pick my fave but I would like to point out the biggest brush in this set (781). Bristels are cut diagonal and they're just wonderful for blending eyeshadow on the outer part of the lid. Just perfect! The brush really surprised and impressed me. When I was ordering it, I wasn't expecting I'd love it so much. I really like these brushes, they're so soft, they dry fast and they're just making me want to buy more Bdellium Tools brushes.

Indigo Wild Zum Rub Frankincese & Myrrh - one of my favourite, if not even my favourite multi-purpose balm. I've mentioned it many times because it's so bloody excellent! Currently I "have" to use it on my face because my skin is out of control. I especially like using it the evenings. Even though it is an oily product, it does not make my skin greasy at all, it actually really helps with my spots. It is quite unbelievable, really. I think Frankincense is of great importance here and I think I'll have to buy 100% essential oil and mix it with vegetable oil to see if it's true.

So'Bio Etic BB Cream - shock horror, I have a new foundation in my life! :) For as long as I remember I used Lily Lolo Mineral Foundation and hadn't even try anything else, but a few weeks ago, or is it maybe months, I bought this BB cream. And I really like it! Maybe because it's so different than mineral foundation. I'm not used to glowy, dewy skin and even though it's super hot and sunny I've been really loving the look. It has a very good coverage, I'd say medium, which is so great for a BB cream. It's also builadble, has quite a good lasting power, especially if I use Lily Lolo Finishing Poweder in Flawless Silk on top.

Gaia Creams Acne Purifying Face & Body Oil* - when I'm having problems with my skin aka spots (sometimes I feel like that's constantly), I always go back to this amazing serum. It contains a wonderful mix of ingredients like Grape Seed, Jojoba, Safflower Oils, Frankincense, Rosemary, Lavender, just to name a few. There is also Borage Oil, which really picked my interest a few days ago when I received a whole bottle of it (you can check it out here). Borage oil helps with different skin problems, like acne, dermatitis, eczema. I'm really curious how it will work for me. As for the Gaia Creams serum goes, it really helps to reduce acne, spots and redness, and at the same time it also moisturizes my skin. It does leave it greasy BUT it doesn't make it any more oily! It actually controls sebum production. It's a really lovely product and I'd say it's definitely worth a try.

Mint - mint tea or a cool mint beverage is one of my favourite things to drink during these hot days. Drinking mint is recommended in the summer due to its cooling effects on our body. In addition to calming and eliminating consequences of stress, it can also help to get rid of headaches. Another plus is that it's just so refreshing and smells really good.

What have you been loving lately? :)

Much love,
Jana xx
