Sundays are for Baths and Masks

January 04, 2015

No, razen, če vlijem res veliko. A nič zato, izdelek mi je vseeno zelo všeč in glede na naravne sestavine proizvede ogromno pene. Pa še všeč mi je napis: our bubbles + you = queen for a day.

Izdelke imajo v različnih drogerijah, trgovinah z zdravo prehrano in podobno, a šele v zadnjem času sem preizkusila malo več njihovih izdelkov.

A bath and a face mask are my current favourite ways to unwind and take care of me and my body. Usually I sink into a warm bath once a week and Sundays are perfect for that. That's why I decided to share with you a few products I've been loving. Products that are good for my body and my soul. All natural and cruelty free of course. :)

Bath Tea Bag Rose - if you follow me on Instagram, then you've already seen these, but as the name suggests, this is tea for bath. Initially I made them for my friend, but then I quickly made some more for me too. This Rose tea bag contains coarsely ground rolled oats, which are amazing for your skin! And I love to eat them too.<3 They make your skin super soft and moisturized, and to top it all off, they work beautifully at calming and soothing your skin. I also added coarse ground salt and dried rose petals. Bath becomes a bit cloudy or hazy and almost creamy, but because I didn't add any essential oils it doesn't smell like I would want it to. But that can be easily solved with some Deep Steep Bubble Bath.

Deep Steep Bubble Bath Passion Fruit Guava - sweet tropical scent isn't the most appropriate for the winter but sometimes that's a good thing, because I then just for a little while forget that it's cold and snowy outside. Product comes in a very cute, fat packaing and the bubble bath provides a very decent amount of bubbles. For a natural bubble bath it provides loads of bubbles. Unfortunately they disappear quite quickly, except if I pour a lot of it. But I don't really mind that and I still love this product! And I also really like the little phrase: our bubbles + you = queen for a day. :)
Besides a good book, YT video or even a series, my bath experience is not complete without a good face mask.

Face mask Turmeric - lately I've been loving my old favourite DIY face mask with oats, tumeric and honey. It turnes my skin a tad yellow but because it works so good I wouldn't mind if my skin was even more yellow. :) You can read more about this mask here, let me just tell you that all three ingredients are more than wonderful for your skin! Honey is super moisturizing but also anti-bacterial and just the best thing ever! Turmeric is very effective at lightening your skin and it really helps with removing blemishes, hyperpigmentation and scars. Last but not least are oats, my fave calming and soothing ingredient, which also make my skin soft and smooth. This is such an easy face mask, yet so effective. I highly recommend it!

Weleda Evening Primrose Revitalising Oil - the extra-rich Evening Primrose Revitalizing Oil regenerates the skin intensively, strengthens and reactivates its natural protective function. The composition with Jojoba and Wheat Germ Oil gives the skin more firmness and elasticity and increases its moisture-binding properties. Amongst the ingredients are also Sesame, Sunflower, Olive and Macadamia Oil. It has quite a nice scent, I really like description of it and I'll try to translate it as good as I can: fresh floral scent of Evening Primrose is rounded with the scent of Magnolia, freshness of Cardamom and warmth of Sandalwood, which gives the oil a mysterious warmth. I love using this oil in the evening, especially after a lovely and relaxing bath. My skin drinks it up! It quickly sinks into the skin and leaves it super nourished and soft. With the exception of coconut oil, I haven't really used much body oils, but this one is making me want to try more. Sometimes I also use it on my hair and it works great.

Have a lovely Sunday,

Jana xx

Sploh pozimi. Ni lepšega:).

    1. Hvala Petra :) Ja super so, ampak ravno zato, ker so pol po celi banji, jih jaz raje dam v takole vrečkico in potem samo stran vržem :) Pozimi je to res nekaj najboljšega! :)
